Lent is the period leading up to Easter.  Traditionally, it has been a sad time, a time to think on what Jesus suffered for us, in order to pay the penalty of our sin.  Some people have a tradition of giving something up for Lent, in order to intentionally focus on Jesus and his "passion" - that is, his suffering and death.  We begin the period of Lent with Ash Wednesday.

For 5 Wednesdays in Lent, beginning Feb 24th, we will be diving into the Bible lessons for the Sunday to come, looking at the Old Testament, the Letters of the New Testament and the Gospel lessons.  Come and help Pastor write the sermon for the week to come.  The dates of our Lent Study?  February 24, March 3, 10, 17 & 24.

Holy Week Worship - Palms/Passion Sunday March 28th 11 am.  Maundy Thursday, April 1st -7 pm. Good Friday April 2nd - 3 pm.  Bring your friends and family.

Easter Sunday is April 4th.  Worship at 6:30 am - sunrise and contemporary music, at no extra charge.  Coffee and hot cross buns to follow.  Easter Breakfast at 9:15.   2nd Worship at 11 am, with a couple of baptisms.

Confirmation Sunday - May 16th, 11 am.
